The bow and stern thwarts are fully epoxied and screwed in, as well as the two center thwart pieces. Lots of thickened epoxy to ensure all the hidden and inaccessible joints were well covered, creating watertight seals. Will be finishing off the exposed joints, along the hull, with a nice broad fillet.

I left the outer edge free of primer so no issue with epoxy adhering . After I lay down the fillets, san, then primer again.

The interior “storage” areas were finished with primer and then RustOleum gloss white. Seems to make for a nice clean finish for storage purposes. Will save the exposed areas for the expensive “marine” paints! Looking forward to finishing the primer coats, sanding to 220/320 and painting the final finish colors.
