For the bright work, I have used for some time Pettit 1015 Varnish. Goes on easy, looks nice, flows out nicely. Then there is Pettit V-975 Captains satin…I really liked the look of the 975 satin finish. Until 2 days ago, I did not know the 975 is an INTERIOR varnish. Hmmm virtually everything looking good, much of small detail already trimmed out and finish is complete. Now have a redo coming up….
LESSON LEARNED: Read the label carefully. Now out looking for a nice satin varnish for exterior/outdoor use! You would think looking at the cans, these were going to be complementary products.
ANY RECOMMENDATIONS FOR A SATIN FINISH EXTERIOR VARNISH!
