Stepping the Mast & Bending the Sails

8-5-21 – I finally finished with the details of the boat and I can roll it out of the garage and work on the sails. I didn’t take any pictures of the process of lashing the sail to the boom and gaff, but here is the finished product.

The halyard and mainsheet lines are smaller than specified because I used what I had on hand to determine the lengths of line I will need to buy for a permanent configuration.

You can tell it was my first build by all the mistakes I’ve made, and I have made some big ones!  But the important part is recovering from them.
