Yesterday I shared my miserable job of routing out a decorative element on the inwales. Well, I fixed it!

I filled it with thickened epoxy last night and sanded it down smooth this morning. I then set up a proper jig to hold the inwales while I ran the router down their length. Worked much better. Then I slathered on another coat of unthickened epoxy and set them out in the sun to set. It is hard to see where I filled with epoxy, adds some minor character to the build

The next project today was to epoxy all the various beefy bits in the stern thwart. Once the clamps come off it will look much better.

Next up, the center thwart and then start sanding and prepping for primer paint, re- sealing watertight bulkheads (making sure there are no epoxy gaps); fixing the thwart panels in place.
