Love the dry sense of humor!
Grant E. Nelson says:
Is slow epoxy used when doing this phase? All the expoxies I have used are standard 15 minutes, which does not seem long enough for this process
David Gruendel says:
I’m with James Greene (“15 can’t come soon enough!”). The early videos in this series inspired me to build a S&G boat, and I’m now ahead of Bill’s vids. His advice, humor, and general philosophy have been wonderful. I wish I already had the benefit of all his wisdom on finishes, because that’s where I am.
William Eck says:
Another great video of the Fox Canoe series, waiting for #15 to come out. On the humorous side if Bill would have nailed the strap on he wouldn’t have to worry about tieing up to a pier!
Hugh Bamford says:
I love Bill’s sense of humour, I’ll now try to endeavour to use the word “leapfrog” in my daily vocabulary.
James Greene says:
15 can’t come soon enough!

Thanks James and Hugh — we love Bill’s schmee and we’re editing these Fox videos as fast as we can — #15 ought to be up pretty soon, and then we’re back down to Bill’s shop to shoot the final finish/painting work and put her in the water. Hopefully we’ll be shooting a camp-cruising video this summer with a couple Fox’s, a Willow, a Nutshell or two, and who knows what else. Thanks for letting us know you’re awaiting with tapping fingers, if not stomping foot.
