    Geoff is amazing and I watched every one of this series with rapt attention. Every step involved techniques I never would have thought of. On just this one I wondered about squaring the notches in the moulds to accept the newly milled kelson. Why not just ease the kelson edges to the radius of the molds making it stronger (sharp edges are weaker) and more foot friendly (should a bare foot get in the bildges).

    Re. plunge cutting on a table saw: Although slower, it is far safer to simply raise the blade up through the stock. A novice woodworker should never plunge in.
