Could the complete, clear image, of the lofting results (shown as the title page of Video 1) be added to the Handouts? It’s so clear and vivid, it make a wonderful statement of the completed lofting project..

I’ve designed hundreds of buildings, but never a boat; always wondered how architectural drawing related to lofting. This is a great introduction!
The diagonals are the main difference, and there is clearly a convention for envisioning the shape of the boat; it’s most similar in architectural drawing to details of cabinetry and ‘special constructions’ where compound curves and odd angles occur more frequently.
SIde comment: I’m old school, learned drawing by hand; now it’s all done with computers…it was our goal not to let the tools determine the design, wonder if this is even more true with boatbuilding, which is more akin to sculpture.
James Tolpin says:
Even if you are not interested in lofting a boat, learning to loft is worth the effort for any artisan because what you are really learning is how to see any object in three dimensions.
John Homer says:
Excellent! Now for the half Model course…

Complete with handouts?! This is ridiculous – ridiculously good!
