As a river sailor on the “mighty” St Johns River in northeast Florida I felt a mighty kinship to the song and the watercraft of all kinds. In these uncertain times It brought a bit of joy to my heart. I have been able to venture out into the river while remaining isolated from others. It has been a real joy. Thank you.

Your gratitude and our gratitude are together like the ocean we all call home… where all our hearts are buoyed. I had to bookmark this one… for every moment I or someone I love needs a heart LIFT! Thank you Steve, Maynard, Ben, Eric, and all involved with the filming, editing, MUSIC<3. Thanks, too, to all those boat owners, parents, boatbuilders, teachers whose work in and on boats brings pure joy to so many. Ahhhh… what a way to start the day!

Perfectly timed gentlemen! We launch tomorrow and your recap of the last two years has provided a huge burst of adrenaline.

Cheers to great sailing in 2018.

Thanks so much guys!
Perhaps you could make a visit to Sausalito, CA at some point. We have a long standing history for wooden boats and a wonderful dedicated boat yard that still maintains traditional values; SPAULDING BOAT YARD. Could be worth a few videos that may be of interest.
Cheers mates, keep up the good work!

What video features the sailboat with leeboards that is the third boat shown?
Steve Stone says:
Hi Jim. She’s TERN in New Zealand — design #107 of L. Francis Herreshoff — “Leeboard Ketch”. The design is in his book Sensible Cruising Designs. The video is still to come, but we couldn’t resist slipping that shot in there (partly to tease the hell out of everyone).
Chris Noto says:
Yeah, you got me, too! I thought, “Meadowlark?” but it didn’t feel right? Any idea how long we will be waiting for the video? All the best to you all!

Hi Steve. Dont keep us hanging too long, I’m interested to see more of TERN too.
