Thought the music sounded familiar – Warren’s father, and his Uncle Walt’s Band members were from Spartanburg, SC in the early 1970’s. And of course, they were preceded by the Marshall Tucker band also from what we locals call “Sparkle City”. Small world indeed.

I recently ran across a beautiful 11′ 8″ sailing skiff drawing with a sprit rig by King and Davis, for plywood construction . Does anyone know of a source for plans of this attractive design?.

Love it. If this gets you going, check out Amanda Shaw. When we sailed around Cuba to New Orleans, we heard her at the Rock nā€™ bowl. We were blown away with this 15 year old… all grown up now.
